The Sterling Grove Turkey Trot is a fantastic way to give thanks. An annual 5k walk/run event that takes place at the amazing Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club on Thanksgiving Day (starting at 8:30am).
With 100% of the proceeds from the race go to benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank in Surprise, AZ. Not a runner no problem you can still participate by purchasing or providing canned goods that will go directly to those in need within the Surprise and surrounding community. Collected on the day of the event, you can bring us your canned food and non-perishable items and we will get them to St. Mary’s.
The event is a positive gathering of friends and neighbors who all want to give back and do something healthy on a special day. If you’re not registered for the event you should still stop by. We will have coffee, music and you can root your neighbors on.
Every registered participant gets a t-shirt, finisher medal, BIB and the race is professionally timed.
