If you haven't yet considered a pool, landscape, and hardscape company please call Luis Leyva at Botanist of the Valley! Luis and his team did an amazing job on our yard. They were on the job three days after we moved in and showed up, literally, 6 days a week and would regularly stay 12+ hours a day. His crew was polite, extremely hard working, and true craftsmen. Luis, the owner, was out here frequently monitoring progress. Marty Martinez designed the project, going so far as to have us come into the office multiple times to review, make changes, then finalize the plans. Their project manager George gave us awesome ideas and we implemented them. Botanist will not nickel and dime you - they're very fair and, actually, came in at a much more competitive price than the other approved vendors. I can't say enough good things about Luis, Marty, George, and the entire team at Botanist. We're beyond thrilled with the final product.

They are a local family-owned business, and they provide excellent reliable service. Tyler scrubs the pool and spa, empties and cleans out baskets, tests chemical levels and adjusts accordingly. Their prices are very reasonable.

The main reasons to proceed with Shasta were:
Introductory meeting detailed how their pools were constructed, not just the aesthetic of the pool design and what differentiated Shasta pools from others. Being an engineer, that was outstanding. Key pool equipment such as the pump, heater, etc. were clearly detailed and the manufacturer named. EXTREMELY detailed breakdown of the costs. All hardscapes, including bbq. Area, were all detailed. We knew what we were getting. From day one, we knew the + / - of the choices we were making. Full cost transparency. Thomas Cross, our sales rep. worked with us on giving us the largest pool that was reasonable and WHAT WE WANTED. One of our previous consultants were trying to convince us to proceed with a smaller pool without significant cost reduction. Thomas Cross, our sales rep. gave us sound advice knowing our needs to be self-sufficient and the timing of when we will use the pool (eg. heaters). Thomas Cross was patient with us. And he dropped by often to make sure the project was progressing well. Cost competitive (we were 25% cheaper than our original preferred vendor quotes). We never felt rushed but were able to make the decision when we needed to. This was a 1-year decision / process while the house was being built. Excellent communications. They do landscaping as well now.

Chris at New Living Pools did an exceptional job on our pool. He was patient with us while designing, communicative, reasonably priced and exceptional quality. Our pool was installed in just under 2 months from signing to water fill. New Living also does pool servicing so Chris is skilled in setting up the most efficient systems/layout that will expend the quantity of your pool's life. We would recommend Chris to anyone looking for a pool/spa and/or servicing.
